Why I built this

I'm an independent software contractor. For a while I tracked hours in Obsidian, cobbled invoices together in Invoice-Generator.com, and stored client credentials... in my email. Yeah. You can do this too! It worked at first.

The tools out there were either built for agencies with 50-person teams or so bare-bones they didn't meet my specific needs. I didn't need Gantt charts or seat-based pricing. I needed to log my hours (for billing or my own tracking), send a clean invoice, and then move on.

So I built SandInvoice for myself. Maybe it'll work for you too!
